Pêche Seafood Grill
Magazine Street Seafood Grill that incorporates traditional approaches to rustic dishes amid thoughtfully modern design.
Pêche Seafood Grill, sits on the high-profile corner of Julia and Magazine Street in New Orleans’ Warehouse District. Pêche was the first portion completed within the major historic restoration of 800 Magazine, opening right before the 2013 Jazz & Heritage Festival.
Link Restaurant Group, the owner of Pêche, jumped on the opportunity to build-out over half of the available tenant space on the ground level facing Magazine Street. The seafood restaurant was eligible for receiving state and federal tax credits, affording the thoughtful modern design within the exposed timber structure. Towering Cypress doors open into Pêche’s bar under the intricately reconstructed Italianate Gallery, the main focal point of the building. A custom designed open-flamed wood-burning grill, constructed out of a volcanic ash material, known as Isokern, is the secret to the succulent seafood flavor, having reoccurring guests who enjoy not only the food, but the exquisite ambiance.
